Advice on overpressure 6.5 CM

Currently shooting the following load:
140 grain ELD-M's with 41.5 grains of H4350 in Hornady Brass at an average of 2710 fps. Hornady says I should be around 2700, which seems in line with my numbers.\

Do these primers seem to show any overpressure signs?

Primers look good besides the potential sloppy pin to boltface fit.
Possibly a savage rifle?
Run it.

Looks good to me. the primers are not super flat, there is no cratering, no ejector impressions that I can tell.
the ones in column 3 rows 6&7 look a bit weird, the rim of the in one in row 7 looks deformed and there might be some light ejector marks in the one in 6.. Could just be the lighting.
What kind of primers are they?

Yeah, primers are still round. Like Steel head said, it could be some sloppy firing pin fit in the aperture.

That’s pretty severe for sure.

OP’s primers look pristine on the edges and that’s a safe and conservative speed.

I think that may be due to some feeding issues where I was ejecting rounds that were a little stuck and its possible some rounds got a little roughed up. The primers are CCI BR-4 LRP.

What you have is completely normal when running a rifle such as a savage. They tend to show primer cratering at less than max loads

I have no idea if if that’s what your running but it’s very common in those rifles

Seems like I have a safe and accurate load here then. Though since I can't get my hands on any 140 ELD-M's I'm likely going to switch over to some Berger Hybrid Targets because I can get a bunch of them. At least I'll have this load ready to go if the ELDs come back in stock sometime this century.

Running a trued Rem 700, seems likely it could just be remington quality issues. The rifle still shoots 0.5 MOA at 100 so I'm not tripping too much!

I wouldn’t worry. I’ve run 43.0 in rifles with the same combo with Lapua brass without issue

Yea, Remington is kinda famous for cratered primers as well.
I’d 100% run with it happily.
With my 260 2700ish with 140s was always really accurate and pleasant to shoot with plenty of performance.
