Forster Seating Stem Question

Just started reloading for a 300 Norma and 250 Hornady A Tips. My Forster seating die is leaving a visible ring on the bullets about 2/3 of the way down the ogive. Anyone run into this or have a fix for it? It's new Lapua brass, neck lubed with Imperial dry lube, .306 mandrel used for .002 neck tension and neck chamfered.

Use a bullet and some fine sandpaper to create a good contour the put polishing compound on bullet and polish it in.

On all my forester dies i took a bullet wrapped it in very fine emery cloth put it in drill and ran in the stem.

Id go 150-300, I tried it with 600 and 800 lapping compound and it took for freaking ever.
Use a few bullets and use a new one for the final touch up, they wear too and will develop a ridge themselves.

I use 320 then 600 then 1000 for sand paper and then the polishing compound.
