I know I should have seen all this coming and stocked up, but when this is over I don’t think I will be shopping with company’s like Midway that seem to be taking advantage of the situation with their component- ammo pricing.

I know everything has gone up, supply and demand etc. where is the line on reasonable profit and gouging is all I am saying, companies like Powder Valley seem to be passing along the increases and not adding a little extra. This will all end and I will be dong business with companies that were fair through the hard times, all I am saying.

Prices on metals went up so they say haven't seen prices on powder go up except at gun shows and such

Seems like naysayers will always come out of the woodwork.

OP, you’re hardly alone, there’s lots of threads on here with people sharing your stance. Brownells, Powder Valley, and Grafs have all shown that to one extent or another they’re mostly just passing along increases. Midway is clearly taking moves to maximize revenue above and beyond many of their other competitors, at the expense of the consumers’ value received.

i just started reloading during the plandemic.. i was able to get 5k lrp at normal prices and all my components at resonable prices through midway
I looked at my invoice and actually bought 10k CCI LRP in December for $400 plus $12 hazmat fee

Some people complain about the gougers on gunbroker who buy just to resell, and suggest Midway/Brownell etc... raise their prices and limit orders so resellers don’t buy as much and there’s more ammo/components available.

Others complain that Midway/Brownells/etc raise their prices and limit quantities.

Midway was doing well through the beginning of the year with minimal increases. Primers have gone up on midway over 65% plus they're now breaking up cases and not selling by the case. They are limiting to 1k unqiue box per order. Brownells has only gone up 15-20%.

You sure that order wasn't in 12/2019? They've been limiting to 1 box since at least midyear last year. If you slipped through you got lucky.

Just browsing the website the prices look good to me i dont see any price gouging going on didnt look at the whole site just a quick glance lets not find problems that dont exist

I've been doing business with Midway on and off for over 20 years. Back in the day they had good prices and free shipping. Something happened in the late 90s and they haven't been the same since. Back then they didn't even carry primers or powder.

For the last 15 years, I can usually find items at other places prices with just as good or better service, so I don't typically give them my business.
