Seems like there are more than a few here who have either built a Form 1 bolt action or went the brace route. Either way, post em' up!

I'll start:

Been considering doing a Form 1 on a spare 700 action, adding a folder and a circa 14.5 suppressed barrel for hunting recently........been put off my lack of reloading components amd ammo as I'm struggling to shoot what I have on hand currently

No better time to do it than now. Get it approved and order your components. It’ll all come together by the time you have it all collected, ready to shoot.

I didn’t make them myself, but it was Berger 115’s going about 2950. Bleeds velocity rather quickly but is a hammer for unknown distance night shooting under 300 yards

I hear ya. That 308 I posted is a perfect clip-on host for taking pigs and yotes inside of 600 yards. Of course, it requires a raptar with AB, but it's more than doable. Without a Raptar, I'd say 300 yards is about my comfort zone on game. Reality is, I don't shoot past 300 yards at night anyways ~ even with the best available equipment. So ... SBRs work great!

I'll throw my 8" caliber 6xc in here too, I love the shorties so much!!

No data available yet, have been too busy, but I plan measure FPS this weekend

I'll but that sucker thumps without the can :D

I'll be clearing the lane left and right of me next weekend range trip. TBAC has my suppressor as part of the recall. Be interested to see how she's held up from the beating.

i havent even tried shooting it without the can :)
i only blasted some rounds in the backyard with the can, i liked the sound of it, really different then a normal rifle and it didnt hurt my ears

If Christensen ever sends my 6.5 MPP that I won I can share that...
But I think I'm waiting till they bulk send to dealers. Was hoping to be one of the first with a range report.

What is the overall length on that thing collapsed? Its so tiny. lol
is just under 20"
i should have gone to a 5" barrel... maybe in the future, 5" carbon fiber barrel would be cool

I've been thinking of building something and then I see Bergara came out with this-

I think 6ARC or 6.5G might be fun in one of these. Throw it in a backpack and go hiking.

What are you anticipating out of that? What made you settle on that round for a super shorty?
I'm anticipating around 2200fps, today I will know for sure.

The reason for 6xc is I shoot it in my other rifle, I'm very happy with it and I'm set up for reloading for it with a lifetime of brass , I just didn't want to add anything else.

i shot it a little bit this Saturday, and it shoots like a dream, very little recoil, and not too loud
the 105 bergers that fly 2700fps in my 16" barrel did 2050FPS in the 8" barrel.

looks like ill have to do some load development...

I have no idea what a moderate load looks like in that gun, but I would think you can move to a slower powder and get back up to 2700-2800 fps. For reference, I'm running H332 in my SBR 308 with a 135g SMK. 8.17mils to 800 yards.

At 50 yards probably around 2” I will try and take some pictures of groups next time I go out. I just started reloading so I have only done the minimum loads with accurate 1680 11 grains with 220 Berry’s bullets and LIL GUN as well both seemed about the same for accuracy so far.

Fun gun to shoot and very quiet. I was able to hit the 200 yard steel plates at Rio Salado shooting range.

Just received shipping for my Mini Fix. Debating if I want to sell it or keep it now that my ears are perked about the SPR300 from B&T. I've got The Fix stock and several accessories for it. Pricing wise, they're not far apart when you add up the extras. Decisions, decisions.

Here was a 5 shot group at 25 yards this morning.
