That is a nice rig! I’d like to see Jeep do a Land Rover Defender 110-like version of the Gladiator, third row seats, upper windows, etc.
Thanks and that would be good looking for sure.

The baby diesel throws em off and they have to look twice when they hear it running

I have had one on my 14 Tacoma for nearly seven years. Held up great. Very versatile being able to fold it down in minutes. You could store it in the back seat if needed. And storing in the garage when not is use is just as easy. I've also slept many nights in the bed under the topper. One extreme downpour with no water. A car wash will get water in but not rain or snow. Generally none while driving during rain or snow. Just the car wash.

@Jefe's Dope was worried about 35s without any suspension changes. It has 33x10.50s now and it is clear that 35s would have fit easily with minimal to no lock to lock clearance issues under flex. I like the softop look but have never messed with one. I like the utility style topper that replaces the tailgate as well, and that gives a small access door or this one is nice too

Thats badass. It would be even more badass if it had an Antifa grill guard, was up armored and the ragtop was bullet proof with gun ports and pop up hatch. You know, kind of what the cops have when they come knockin'.

2nd chicken snake(just now).View attachment 7632118
That is not a chicken snake. It is a Black Snake and they are very beneficial to you. They are very docile and generaly none agressive. They are known to eat rattlesnakes and copperheads.....not to mention mice and rats.

Yep they are beneficial.
They are also nest predators they consume large amounts of domestic eggs, songbird eggs, and wildlife eggs. I had a pair of ducks nesting in a hollow tree came home one evening and both ducks off the nest and a large rat snake aka "chicken snake" had got the eggs. I was not happy about it.
That said I did make alot of extra money overtime, restoring electric service, replacing damaged equipment, and environmental clean up thanks to those snakes.

This spring I only got $.80 per pound for the ones I brought to auction. I was pretty bummed. I needed them off the land though so I had no choice. Hopefully get more when the others are ready in the fall.

Nope just nope
Watched a guy do something very similar to this while working in the oil field! We were drilling conductor holes (first 80’ of the main hole 24-30” wide) and lost a drilling bucket because a pin sheared off around 60’. Long story short, the operator rode the cable down the hole and hooked it up, then rode it back out like he’d done it 100 times. Wasn’t a question, just swore loudly and told another guy on the crew to run the rig for a minute and went down the hole with a flashlight.
