Yep, many of us damn sure grew up without adult supervision for 23 1/2 hours a day. I cut apart bottle rockets and fire crackers by the hundreds for the powder, packed it tight into small glass model paint jars and lit them off, huge boom. And that was while I was 10, never mind all the other stupid shit I did when I really thought I knew better. Things like moving through minefields and running at a big gaping hole in the perimeter wall a VBIED just ripped and BBIEDs were pouring though, all of which would have been "Darwin Award" worthy if they turned out a split-second different. To this day I'm amazed, and thankful, I have all the parts I was born with.
I recommend taking this as a teaching moment to your kids, nieces/nephews, brothers and sisters, and anyone else you're close to that's at a very impressionable age and/or mindset. Remind them yet again there's a lot of stupid people on the internet, this thread not excluded, and it's best to not mimic the vast majority of shit they see out there. Including and especially, reveling in the pain and suffering of a young girl who *GASP* just wanted to be cool and popular like any teenager does.
