If your budget allows Deep South Tactical spun a 308 for me and I had it in hand in about 2 wks. I’ve been very pleased with it.

I'd consider that for a caliber I wanted to extract the most out of but for me the 308 is just a plinking barrel. I'm probably more in the 5-600 ball park tops.

Souther precision did my Bartlien with the new steel for 900 or so. I would think they'd have something they could do in the 600 range.... absolutely great to deal with. Also, Eric at Blue Moutain Precision is outstanding and usually has some options in stock. His stuff hammers too
