Rifle Scopes New EoTech?

I've handled a couple of these, though not yet on a rifle. It will be the best LPVO that EOTECH currently makes. The reticle is the best proprietary reticle EOTECH has made in a LPVO, not reinventing the wheel, but clean and useful. Capped windage, locking elevation, lightweight for it's size. Etched glass illuminated reticle so it won't be a torch but the reticle design utilizes a similar 1x view as their 1-6 so the big ring will be visible with no illumination. At the price point, I think it will do pretty well. Without it being on a rifle I can't really comment on eyebox or anything like CA yet but I didn't see any issues while holding it in my hand while indoors. It's a solid evolution to the line and dare I say there really is no glaring detractions.
From listening to @koshkin , he has seen better performance at distance from the March 1-10 with an adjustable parallax compared to the Vortex G3 Razor 1-10 without one.
Sounds like the main difference comes down to end use and how much time you’ll actually be spending at 7-10 power and or distance.
Not saying its bad to have a non adjustable parallax on a 1-10 optic, just something to be aware of for the user.
I don't think so. I have taken my 1-8 K18i out to 1000 yards on a couple of occasions and have shot at 600-800 quite often with it. I also routinely shoot it between 300-400 or so on 25% targets or smaller. While I am sure that adjustable parallax would theoretically add to the accuracy, I believe the use case for most of these optics are not static shots where you have all day. We put these on guns where we shoot in dynamic situations and I think adjustable parallax may very well be a liability in that case. As usual, YMMV and your use case will certainly decide this.
Makes sense in both cases. I'm still learning the basics of scoped shooting. Based on what I think I "know," I would tend to assign an LPVO to a primarily non-static role.
I am holding out for this one for my AR10 16" build. Looks like it will be a great option with some really nice features that I have been looking for. I am a bit hesitant about the lack of parallax on a 10x due to past experience but I will hope for the best.
Not to be a whiny bitch but I hate one piece ocular housings! That is one of the biggest reasons I never owned a Nightforce for the longest time. But i.guess I will have to suck it up with this one and hope it's everything I need it to be...
