This one is borrowed from a friend. It's an 800 with some fancy stuff done to it for his race car. After some discussion about the one I have on the car we decided to try it out.
I ran a 750cfm, vacuum secondaries on my Olds 455 and always thought it needed more air. I'm sure hers will run like a spotted ass ape.

Yes it did. But Fred moved to a northern climate later in life. The use of rock salt on the roads rusted out the floor pan and the ethanol fuel ate the injection system of his modern car that he purchased with his fame and fortune. So he just reverted to his past.
Didn't Fred's car have one solid wheel front and back?

This makes my head hurt...

On a previous car I ran a carb without a choke and the wife didn't mind warming up the car. Now she's asking for the choke so she doesn't have to pedal it. This is a step up from the 700 cfm I have. I also like the 4 corner adjustment.
I was going to point out the milled choke horn, but Lawless beat me to it.

So I'll just add the secondary metering block mod/replacement allowing 4 corner idle adjustment is a nice touch.

I am going to try a tall mount. I have been seeing this trend for a while and it has progressed to a point of being very proven for dot wearing carbines. I have a big head (7-3/4 🤠) and have always had to crane my neck to get behind the dot. Interesting concept.

Then the even higher Unity mount at 2.26”.

To try the concept out, my math says that for a optic with an absolute CW mount, you need a cheap 1/2” riser for 1.93 height or a .83” riser for 2.26 height. Both are readily available.

If I decide I like it, I’ll buy a dedicated mount.

Things progress…and sometimes come full circle in this case. Those guys running Aimpoints on carry handles back in the day were ahead of the curve.
