A student at Arizona State told Fox News in an interview that her organization, Un-PAC, is considering the extreme form of protest if the bill does not get passed by Jan. 17.
“We’re prepared to hold out indefinitely now that the holidays are over,” junior Leila Winbury told the outlet.
She said the last strike took a physical toll on the students, but they view democracy to be in such grave condition that they’re willing to do it again.
The last hunger strike, in December, lasted for 15 days and took place in both Phoenix and Washington."

HILARIOUS!!!

Woke ass punks missing a meal or two, boohoo.

Asu is an embarrassment. They are trying to become one of those Berkeley institutions and the little shits are eating it up. Promise for greener grass, too bad they don’t notice the grass is dead and painted green…..

They are delusional enough to think that we care anything about their anorexia...

If we actually cared, we'd just have them declared mentally incompetent and do the good old Guantanamo style "rectal feeding tube"

If they started their own hunger games they’d get more people to care.

I'd pay out of pocket to drive down there, stop at the nearest Burger King, and sit in front of them while I down a Whomper with cheese, large fry, and a Choco-wham shake.

Since manchin and Kristen put the brakes on it how long will they hold off eating?
Someone should do a daily video update. I'd check it out every day.

Let them starve to death! Meanwhile I’ll be laughing my ass off!

I'm not keen on rooting people on to starve to death, but it's clear they're not facing reality.

I read the "translation" of the bill. A good helping of it I'm not opposed to. Eliminating barriers to get to the polls makes sense to me.

But allowing mail-in ballots for "any reason" is unacceptable to me. And vote counting must end at a reasonable time so the result can be determined quickly eliminating the space necessary for fraud. Voting should be closed at 8PM, let's say. You had many days to early vote... too bad.

I debated this with a neighbor. His logic was, "Well, if you don't want to use a mail in ballot, then don't."

I responded by explaining that whether or not there is "proof" of widespread fraud, there is fraud and there are mistakes associated to mail-ins.

He said, "But it would restrict voting access..."

I responded, "So would never receiving my mail-in ballot because of a USPS issue or some kind of nefarious action not actually possible now."

I also said, "It should scare you that you never actually know - after mailing in your ballot - if it was received or counted."

Then I said, "Look, your logic is like saying... 'Let's just make it okay to get a credit card without having to prove you're the person applying.' The very likely result will be bad actors who know my name, SSN, and address will load up credit cards in my name, on my debt... and I may not have a way to prove it wasn't me. And your response will be that we already have that resolved because you can apply online and never show an ID. Okay, but they still verify you are you in various ways inclusive of asking for an ID or an alternative that requires documentation that required an ID to get. But in the end, they screw up all the time and give CC's to these bad actors. It's called identity theft. It costs people millions a year. Now imagine someone stealing your vote and conflate that with the fact that when you mail-in a vote, you have no idea if it was received or counted."

He shut the fuck up.

They're just practicing for when their real Communism takes effect.

Start early voting the week before and the Tuesday of the vote is a national holiday. No businesses are open except for healthcare. Anyone outside of the country has to have their ballot in the mail two weeks before. Show ID, vote and get your finger inked.
Voter registration ends 30 days before the election.

and anyone caught tampering with ballets, or trying to vote more than once, should be executed in the parking lot of the polling station.

The American public school system strikes again, producing drones incapable of rational, critical thinking.

BTW, next time you debate someone remind them that the right to vote, like the right to keep and bear arms, is not unlimited.

Well, I think every voter should have to fill out a form #4473 to receive their ballot.
I mean if we're going to have to provide documentation to exercise our rights - it should be applied across the board.

I need a vacation from the cold. Might head down there and set up camp and the Bar B Que and watch.
Might even yell words of encouragement " Don't eat that you fat pig, you got this.."

Fuck those fat commie fucks. Honestly, who gives a shit what a bunch of worthless cunts who live off welfare and student loans and never contributed one single god damned dollar to the greater good of this country demand from the rest of us?

Not me.
I wish people would stop sugar coating their opinions on this forum...

If they choose to starve themselves to death that’s their business. The grocery stores are already low on supplies. Leaves more for me. 😂

Those woke hippies will smoke pot and get the munchies before long.

Well hot pockets aren't really food, so if you plow down 40 of them during a hunger strike, are you really "eating"?
