Where my username actually comes from. I carry a Springfield Pro that was made while it was still under contract many moons ago. I never had an issue carrying a full size. Heavy sure but manageable with the proper holder and belt.
They need re-release 3.27 and just let the Xero ride off into the sunset gracefully until V2 comes along with shit people want as far as features. The Xero does what it’s supposed to and provide you with basic metrics.
Mine finally came in. Looks like mine has some sort of an adhesive to keep the legs from unscrewing. So far no issues with grabbing the legs to unlock and lock.
Mine also hit the scale at 15.3 oz with the arca clamp.
I’ll try to take it to the range but with the knob tightened as much as I...
When you do hit the range loosen it just enough to be able to make micro cant adjustments and then shoot. See if the legs over time start turning. No one has time for cant, lock, shoot each and every time especially at a match.
It is what it is at this point and I’ll give it a shot but honestly I don’t think anyone really asked for panning. I mean if you were designing it from the ground up at least incorporate a separate pan lock. I’m pretty positive the target audience were NRL Hunter shooters. Why have pan?
Mine shipped but my concern is leaving the tension just tight enough to still make micro tilt adjustments without having the bipod start panning under recoil. That would be super annoying.
I don’t know of anyone that uses a Lilja blank. That said, two friends of mine that had a Lilja CZ457 prefit eventually sold theirs for other custom offerings which shot much better. Could be a number of factors but you just don’t see them much at least on the RimX side of the house.
