Don’t know if you’re on FB but a lot of niche products tailored for NRL are released or at least discussed on the NRL Hunter Community Official group.

Off top of my head I think it was 3.1 or 3.2 oz. I’ll confirm later this evening.

Direct from their web store. SiCo = SilencerCo for short.

I haven’t tried the new SiCo brake with the Omega. I have used my Omega with the RX 3-port brake with my 7mm SAW. I used it at an NRL match and it made a difference to me. I was able to spot my impacts.

For PRS I think either will be fine with a lightweight rifle (Sportsman Division). They seem comparable for the most part with some subtle differences at least for me. Use either on a heavyweight 6mm variant and I doubt there will an OMG this is soooo nice experience. They’ll be close enough.

Very slight pressure but enough for it to slide on the bag. I was squared up with the rifle.

Took the brakes out to test this morning as planned. I used the same rifle weighing in at 12 lbs 5.2 oz. The weight includes the bipod and is +/- 1 oz or so depending on the brake. Ammo was the same as well with 6.5CM factory Hornady 140 ELDM at 2728 fps avg. I only shot at 200-ish yards but...

I didn’t get one of their recommended tools to tightened down the lock ring. The spanner I have doesn’t get a good bite into the shallow notches in their lock ring. So for now I’m going to use the lock ring from the RX Comp and swap it back back and forth. It works just fine.

I agree. Of my three braked suppressors, the Omega with the 3 port brake feels the softest. Once the new SiCo brake comes in, I’m going to move the RX Comp brake to the Omega and will compare that to the Scythe with their new Bravo Directional brake.

@kthomas Yup the brake is from SiCo. Video of it is on their IG account and available on their website. I just ordered one with the $200 store credit they gave out with can purchases until the end of the month. The brake was free.

Bravo threads are the same as HUB which is also 1-3/8x24 and 1.375x24. SilencerCo created that size and has become an industry standard for the back end of the suppressors. That’s if the manufacturer wants to utilize it.

The brakes are can specific. The Hub threads are on the ass end.

Based on the wrench notches it looks like it might be made by SilencerCo. No info was given on the brake. The brake looks to be no frills other than the top two ports.

The post I made in March (#185) is holding strong. Here’s another brake I can across today through the socials.. 2025-26 is going to be all about the brakes on cans. This will be another comparison to make if/when it releases to the RX Comp.
