    Curtis Custom 22lr conversion

Mine feels pretty snug but then again I’m using an Axiom. Don’t know if that makes a difference.

Vudoo empty chamber indicator - looking for advice on which one

The newer magnetic printed ECI have shorts nubs that should not touch the chamber wall. They are smaller and pretty stout. I’ve never shot my rifle long enough to even get it hot. If you’re breaking shit off or scratching your chamber you have bigger issues at hand.

    There’s a hole for a bungee but I don’t use it.

Vudoo empty chamber indicator - looking for advice on which one

If you want something in the chamber, magnetic ones like the Hoz and Shield are the way to go. They stay put. Here’s a quick video I made.

NEW From Zermatt Arms - RimX Actions

Hit the range early morning. Lapua Midas+ was doing about 1082 today compared to Sunday’s number. Today was also about 10 degF cooler. Sunday was around 85 and doing 1088. Barrel is a PBB blank chambered by Manzella Precision. All shots were at 50y. Each group were 5 rounds except for the one...

NEW From Zermatt Arms - RimX Actions

If it shoots it shoots but I don’t know if anyone using S&B rimfire ammo for matches so I can’t help you there. But from personal experience if I get fliers it’s time to scrub the chamber clean. I‘lol follow up with a bore scope to make sure it was actually cleaned versus I think it’s clean...

    .22 LR CZ455 50yard precision bench rest, off by 1-2 inches ?

I’m assuming the group is shifting on its own. You’re not doing anything to the scope. Does the group ever go back to 1/2”?

    .22 LR CZ455 50yard precision bench rest, off by 1-2 inches ?

Check EVERY fastener on your rifle including the scope mount/rings. Doesn’t matter what you think you did in the past when installing it. Just check it. Next scrub your barrel and go from there.

NEW From Zermatt Arms - RimX Actions

My Preferred Barrel Blanks barrel done up by Mike at Manzella Precision finally made it to my door. This is the second barrel from him where I wanted it unfinished with heat treating visible and scuffs/scratches. I call it a “raw dog” barrel. Always raw dog it... 😉 It was finished at 24”.

NEW From Zermatt Arms - RimX Actions

I can’t remember which post I replied on not long ago but stated I was a proponent of the Zermatt mags over an aftermarket mag. Zermatt mags work period. While an aftermarket mag may be cheaper I’ve had nothing but trouble with them.

    Hornady factory 6GT ammo accuracy

He was talking specifically about the factory 6GT Hornady loads in general at the time due to fact that people were popping them. People with 737s chimed in and said they didn’t have issues. Coincidentally though you can now get a 737 with a 0.060” firing pin.
