My beautiful new rig thanks to Chad and the folks at LRI's group buy. Photos don't do it justice, it's just stunning work. Now to make it a bit less pretty, knock it around a bit, use it, camo it up. In other words, go from pretty to SEXY. :D LOL
Another +1 for Chad and the group at Long Rifles Inc. It's not too late to get in on the group buy through the Hide with them. SUPER happy with the work they did on my rifle.
I have a Kahles K624i on my M700 (.300 Win Mag), absolutely LOVE IT. Amazing glass, beautiful FOV, tracks beautifully, large eye box, really super pleased with it.

The only time I saw anything similar in Iraq was when the engineers/EOD/JIEDDO folks would shoot not to detonate the IED, but instead disable the triggering mechanism (base station, cell phone, etc.).
Just recently got my K624i used. Haven't had a chance to take it to the range yet (my rifle is all apart and up in SD for the group buy accurizing work), so I can't speak to the tracking, but DAYUM that glass is amazing. Liked it better than the last few S&Bs I've gotten my hands on, and...
Honestly, a large part of it comes down to looking at a) all the blessings I have in my life, b) the struggle that so many of my friends deal with on a daily basis, and c) the friends that I had that didn't survive. I'm a disabled Veteran. Eight traumatic brain injuries (short term memory...
