This is a general announcement that the GreenMill long-range .22 field match scheduled for 9/16/23 will be cancelled as the match workers/sponsors will be traveling out of state on that date. We are working out a plan to hold the match on Oct 21st and another in November. Stay tuned.

Folks, We had a great turnout on Saturday (18 shooters) including 3 first time shooters. Chris Wray showed up with an air rifle and did quite well. I'm sure this will stir the .22LR pot in the upcoming months! Expect to see him and other trendsetters show up with tactical vests and HP air...

Folks, The berm work that cancelled the April match has been completed to the point where we can hold the GreenMill Long-range this coming Saturday at 9:00am. The dates for the matches are: April 15th, (cancelled) May 20th, June 17th, (No Matches in July) , August 19th, September 16th...

Such a pain ... but will at least fix the safely issues of having line of sight from the .22 range to the 200 yard lines on the adjacent ranges.

It is a pain to come up with a consistent date. I worked with the CRC folks not to hold the GreenMill match on the same Saturday, then there was the conflict with our juniors program (2x Saturdays per month and the other Silhouette matches held at the range). At least there are a lot of .22...

Folks, I am trying to come up with 1-2 dates for two matches before the end of the year. Lots of conflicts to sort out including on 10/15. Also I would like to give at least 3 weeks warning. Trying for 10/29 if we can get the range. I will keep folks posted. Good shooting.

Hi Jeff, There were a ton of conflicts with range maintenance and other matches. My intention is to start in August if they get the giant ditch filled that is passing through all of the ranges. - R o y
