Sean's class (Vapor Trail Tactical) is certainly worth traveling up to Kinston, NC for it since you're in SC. He is a good dude and teaches a great class.
I have a Badger Thruster brake installed on my bolt gun and I really like it. I had the gunsmith install it so that you can barely see the line between it and the barrel and is lined up perfectly. Easy and quick to take on and off by hand.
I recently received my Kreiger SPR barrel from CLE and I could not be happier with the way it shoots and with the customer service experience from start to finish with CLE. I also had it fluted and the overall weight of the package is really light. Definitely a good idea to go ahead and get...
If you have money and time and want the most accurate rifle you can get, then go ahead and try all of these gunsmithing ideas that are above. They certainly shouldn't hurt anything as long as the person knows what they're doing. Otherwise, start with the cheapest and quickest alternatives. A...
Also, whatever you use, I suggest using something that is big enough to go over top of whatever clothing you are wearing rather than having to take clothes off and put a ghillie on in place of them. We used the old MOPP suits after cutting the charcoal liners out. Very hot to wear but they got...

Yes, the Zephers should not have any problem with that. I wore mine for dozens of rucks with anywhere from 35lbs up to about 65lbs of weight and also wore them in last years Sniper Adventure Race. No problems whatsoever with the boots so far.
I've been good Sean. The recommendation is well deserved my friend. I would love to get back up there to do some shooting, but work has been really busy lately. Hopefully sometime in the near future though!
I love the Lowa Zepher non Gortex boots that I have. They are very comfortable. Although I haven't owned a pair of either of these, but I have talked to several other people who claim the Nike SFB boots and the Rocky C4 boots are very comfortable but may have durability issues with hard use.
I'm a big fan of the Lowa boot as well. I have a pair of Renegade GTX as well as the Zepher NON GTX. I prefer the Zepher. They are very light and very comfortable and have been plenty durable for me through a lot of rucking.
