    Giving Snipers a Bad Reputation

Savage now and then AKA why people hate Savage

Any rifle can be made to be accurate, just depends on who is building it and also the one behind the trigger. Looks and cool factor arent always the answer to a reliable and accurate rifle IMO.

Nice Edge! I just finished my edge project as well, it is alot of fun to shoot. If you haven't tried reloader 33 in it yet give it a go, it gives good velocity and ES. I get 2925 out of a 32" bartlein 5r with 300gr smk.

Having a fired case and the bad case will help them find the cause of problem quicker. Here are a couple pics of the custom rifles that my father and i built, one is a .308 and the other is 6mm-284.

One other thing you can do if not already been done is lap locking lugs on bolt and action and have action trued. If curious on my profile photos , i have two pictures of custom remington 700's that my father and i built. From threading barrel, chambering, truing action, bedding stock with pillars.

    Bolt hard to close

are you measuring the COAL of the whole loaded round? From you stated earlier that when you close bolt with round in chamber it pushes the bullet further into brass, that may mean you have the bullet seated to far into the lands of the rifling or your rifle has improper headspacing.
