    Amp Mate

I’ve used my ampmate for thousands and thousands of pieces of brass. It’s a great tool. There are videos of a guy pairing it with a Giraud. In really big cases like 338 lm and 300 PRC, it’s a bit finicky, but for most average sized cases it allows me to do another operation while it’s running.

    308 FGGM brass

When sorted by weight, it makes accurate ammo. It’s great for times you cannot collect your brass after firing.

    22 ARC Load Data

True. In looking at my 223 bolt gun velocities, I’m getting about 2,700 fps with a 75 ELD in a 16” bolt gun. With a 26” barrel, I’m getting 2,770 fps with an 88 ELD. 22 ARC should match or get close to those speeds with these bullets (75 ELD, 85 RDF, 85.5, and 88 ELD) depending on the bolt...

    22 ARC Load Data

I’ve got ladders loaded up with 75 ELDs and Varget, H4895, StaBall Match, CFE223, Leverevolution, and H4350. I just need my barrel from Craddock.

    22 ARC Load Data

I didn’t see a thread that seemed to capture all the data in one place. A buddy gives me all his once fired. My dies should be here tomorrow. I’m hoping to match or get close to my 223 bolt gun loads in a gasser. What loads are working for you guys? Velocities? Barrel length? Gas or Bolt gun...

Using Tape on the back of a loaded round to check or set headspace. . . .

I’ve done this many times using yellow credit card receipt instead of tape. It’s always worked great. It’s disappointing to learn that factory ammo is coming out too long. Normally, it’s at min to give the best chance of working in pretty much any chamber it might find its way into.

    338 Lapua Magnum

Too deep is more of a pistol concern. Generally, too long is the rifle concern. Contacting the lands tends to lead to pressure spikes. If you’re getting hard bolt lift, 88 grains of Retumbo with a 300 grain bullet is borderline in your rifle.

WTB 45 ACP brass (small or large primers) once fired brass

I’ve got 45brass going back to the 1940s. You’ll most likely lose it before you wear out 45 brass.
