I have an Omega 300 that I use with a Bravo ASR mount. I finally got the paperwork back on my "free" Octane 9 and I'm looking for mounting options for 22/9/300BO. I currently have my 9mm mounted via 3 lug but want something a bit sturdier for 300 blackout. Please let me know if anyone has an...
By front adjust do you mean the adjustment screw facing down the length of the barrel? Or perpendicular to the handguard? I assumed I would want one with side adjustment to keep from having to take the handguard off to adjust.
I got a rough zero set with my Midas Tac Saturday with my 20" AR-15 SPR. Seems to track fine and I had no issues with glass clarity. But the wind was something else so I'll probably have to fine tune the zero before setting the zero stop. I am very satisfied with my purchase overall.
That's really interesting. YHM seems to use pretty much the same system as Dead Air. Hmm might have to pick that one up instead! Do the muzzle brakes actually work well without the can? My SiCo brake looks like the ports have no backward slant to them unlike the m4-72sd I have. I guess I'm...
I have done up custom loads for 6.5 using Lapua and Starline Brass, JLK-Berger-Sierra-Hornady bullets, and a couple of different powders (H4350 mostly). None of them shoot noticeably better than the gold medal bergers from federal, at least in my rifle. They are pretty darn good but factory...
Didn't get that option from SS. But they had the best local price and no transfer fees. Plus the kiosk made it a breeze on the paperwork. I'll likely keep the ASR even if I do get the Key-Mo and just put the given brake on a rifle I dont suppress that much.
Yeah I was thinking about that as well. I'm planning to build a 300BO while I wait for my stamp and thought I might put a 9 or 10" 300BO barrel with one of those crazy lightweight 13" V Seven rails. But that would basically necessitate buying the Key-Mo.
That's correct. I called SilencerCo and they said a lot of their newer stock was not in the system yet so I'd have to e-mail them the information. Still waiting for a confirmation email though, been a couple of weeks but I know they're busy. For you guys with lots of suppressor experience, do...
They are great except for the weight. If you can stand the 25oz weight, there's not a hair's bit of difference between it and the Trijicon 1-8. Except I like both PA reticles better, and they're about to release the Raptor if they haven't already which is an even better reticle IMO. The only...
What I liked about the Hiperfire vs. competitors is that due to the "shocks" system, the lower the pull weight, the HARDER the hammer hits. My 24C hasn't had a single malfunction in 2500 rounds.
I really like a lot of triggers. I have kept: Hiperfire 24C (Love the shoe) Geissele SSA-E (basically any 2 stage Geissele) Triggertech TT-AR (like it a lot but keep coming back to Hiperfire and that shoe) Larue MBT (best deal going for a normal build) If I had unlimited funds I'd put...
