You want extended range in a short rifle that can push a 215gr pill to 2950fps. Sounds like a Desert Tech SRS A1 to me. 26" barrel with a 9" suppressor would put it roughly at 45" OAL and depending on optic will be around 14 to 15lbs.

Configured exactly as pictured it is 12.6lbs...but it doesn't feel that heavy because of its awesome balance! BTW in the pic its balanced on the pistol grip in case anyone missed that.

My SRS A1 Covert with .223 SAC conversion. OAL of 27.25" with the 16.25" .223 barrel but I also have 18" & 26" barrels in 300WM for large game. Short rifle with bright, wide FOV optic for thick bush...now I just need some bush!

Anyone know the height of DTA's mounts? The FAQ says the height from the cheek weld to the center of the scope 1.52". I'm trying to match this to a Spuhr mount which have heights of 1.18", 1.46" & 1.5". Looking to find out which one more closely matches the height of DTA's mounts so I don't have...
