I put an Rem 700 .308 ADL with a varmint barrel in an Oryx without any issue or special work needed.

Got a voicemail last week from one of the guys over there (Grant?). Apparently they changed the design of the ball head "a slight amount" and they're "almost done". He didn't give a firm timeline and said he couldn't go into details on the changes. I'm guessing it's probably due to patent...

It appears like they may have greatly redesigned the ballhead. At least I hope this is for gen 1 and not a gen 2 thing.

Specific to the shooting tripod, I got the following response on there 7th of this month from Chris: "I am expecting everything to be complete and ready to go in roughly 6 weeks." There's been multiple delays so I think it's safe to say the timeline here isn't completely trustworthy.
