I just like the fit and finish of the HS stocks. I have had several HS's on my 700's and have no experience with B&C. Not bashing at all, I just have zero experience with them.- Big T

Thanks all for the quick help! I thought it would fit as well, however the lady at stockys said the PST114 would not fit accustock models?!? Also, my model has the bolt release in front of the trigger guard. Will I be able to change the bottom metal on this gun? Can I install the "older"...- Big T

Gunsmithing HS stock on Savage accustock

Thanks Dave for the heads up! I am really looking forward to getting my mags as well. Since this was my first order, I thought maybe I had done something wrong or failed to complete the order process completely. Since this is the way it is for everyone, then I am OK to wait. I ordered two type 2 magazines from Alpha Industries on the 23rd of June. I paid via paypal and have not heard a word from them. I have sent emails and called and left messages and have heard nothing. I would really like to hear from my order. Can anyone here help me with that? Thanks, Todd- Big T

Gunsmithing Rem 700 .22-250 to .243 suggestions
Remington 700 HS Precision Stock I have an older heavy barreled 22-250 that I would like to convert to 243 (I think). I need some advice. Should I just sell my gun and buy a completed rifle or use my action and build? I want something more versital and using some of my 308 brass seems cool...- Big T
