Re: Tasco Custom Shop 12-60 MD Yeah, I have one of the Tasco Custom shop 8-40X56, also. I bought it several years ago (circa 1995) because it was so unique. I mostly hunt... so every once in a while I get it out; wonder what I would put it on; then put it back in the box.

Re: NRA small bore match recommendation As it turned out the last two were canceled due to the rain, here in East Tx. So I really did not get to see a lot. Neet little steel silhouettes, of pigs, chickens, etc. And thanks for the input.

My local gun club is really fanatical about these NRA small bore shooting contests, and I find myself looking for a .22 that has a tubular magazine, iron sights, and is either pump or lever action. (Note: I think that an external hammer is also a a requirement, but I am not entirely sure.) So...

Re: Shepard Scopes That is just their advertising drawing you probably got on the web. If you look through their scope each ranging circle has a cross hair. You would know that if you had actually used the scope, as you said that you did.

Re: Shepard Scopes Ahh, but each circle does have crosshairs in it. If you had ever looked through a Sheperd scope you would have known that. How could you publish all those bad things about a scope that you have never even looked through.
