I want to stone the trigger on my SRS A2 to get rid of the slight amount of creep, but am unsure if the most likely causal factor is the sear engagement (located at rear of transfer bar) or the transfer bar (I've heard of people polishing the transfer bar). Anyone screwed with this?

I agree with the Freedom Arms comments above, they are so perfect. But for S&W DA's I like to use Frank Glenn. He's a legend in the revolver world, and getting old, but he does things the right way, and turnaround time has been very quick in my experience. Super nice guy too...

I'm reading a 338 will last 4k rounds, and a 300 NM will last about 1k. Again, this is new to me so no experience to draw from.

Yup, sold it all to a friend. 20" barrel and I was pushing 107 SMKs to 2750.

Proof 22" barrel. Starline SR brass with CCI450's. Berger 130 Hybrids. 43.5 of H4350. Hot load but it shoots consistent 0.6 MOA.

The gun alone was about $800 new years ago, but a Russian Molot is worth a lot more now due to the import ban. $1400 with all the extras seems like a good price in todays market to me. I'd offer his $1200 cash and see what happens. Good luck. P.S. These are ending on Gunbroker for crazy prices...
