Molot vepr value?

Looking at one locally to me and I’m unsure of current value on these things.
He posted it at $1700 and then dropped it to $1400.

I like the wood and thought it’d be a cool rifle to through my nomad 30 on.

The gun alone was about $800 new years ago, but a Russian Molot is worth a lot more now due to the import ban. $1400 with all the extras seems like a good price in todays market to me. I'd offer his $1200 cash and see what happens. Good luck.
