    Based on the TP video I'd say fundamentals and rifle/bipod/bag setup would be the first things to examine. You may want to consider higher rings and a higher setting on the bipod so you can get more rear bag under the buttstock. Not saying that's definitely the issue just something to look at.

    For my sample size of 1 each (22 AT-X and 15 AT), no. The bolt lift on the 15 AT is noticeably smoother and lighter, and it hasn't been used more than the AT-X. I'm not whining about heavy bolt lift, I'd just like the action to feel as nice. Looking at the 2 side by side I think something...

    This is the part that gets me. I wouldn't care about the bolt lift on my AT-X if the bolt lift wasn't significantly lighter/smoother on my 15 AT, but it is.

    I wasn't so much complaining about how an AI compares to other actions for bolt lift, it's that my other AI has a much better feel and also a smoother, lighter bolt lift with not many rounds on it. Just wanted to see if that matched other owners experience.

    Couple questions for you, have you found that the carbon build up in the muzzle on a back bored barrel causes any issues after a certain number of rounds, if at all? Also do you know if a 1927f barreled action will fit the chassis with the longer mag housing?
