    POI Shift - MDT Chassis

If it were just double grouping randomly, I would lean towards load in-between nodes. But considering it is consistently vertical my guess is improper bag/bipod set up and or inconsistent form/shooting. For that little of movement it takes a very slight difference in shooting, slight enough that...

Chopping barrel from 26 to 22 inches

Statistically speaking your hit probability will be best with the 140, 130 then 123. I don't remember the exact numbers off hand but it wasn't drastic. That was for an exact known distance, if you start factoring in things like poor ranges and increases on recoil from the larger bullets its...

    Neck Tension and Pressure Signs

We don't clean our barrels until they stop shooting good, but cleaning the chamber properly, and often is a must IMO. As stated above 45 cal pistol jag and 1 or 2 patches on it (what ever it takes for a tight fit), and some rubbing alcohol makes quick work of it. Usually just a few wet patches...

Giraud Power Trimmer vs Henderson Precision Powered Trimmer

Your stupid! Haha just kidding. The lack of a micrometer adjustment is really not an issue. It probably only takes 2-5 minutes to set a new bolt up for a new caliber. If you set up a different bolt for each caliber, you can switch between calibers in about a minute or so and there is no need...

Questioning the quality of the Ckye-Pod- UPDATE - New one received !!

This shit cracks me up every time! I suppose if you never shoot and just want it to "feel tight", or only shoot were the grass isnt over 2" long an atlas would be great. I suppose I'm a bit biased but for quick adjustment and versatility I've seen nothing better. I have all original from before...

    Rifle Scopes Premier Scopes?

It depends on your serial number if they will warranty your scope. If it's new enough they will fix it or give you more money towards a tangent if it breaks. If it's too old they will not fix it and will give you like 1000 towards a tangent if it fails.

    Needing a bipod?

406 bullets has Ckye pods in stock. Most vesitital bipod I've used and Ckye is a good guy!

    Tripod “feet” replacement (RRS)?

406 Bullets makes some as well. They are just like the Ckyepod feet just bigger. I have a set they work great!

Vudoo Gun Works V-22 Rimfire Bolt Action

I was told by one of the owners of ACE barrels (my uncle) to shoot them and just keep the action clean. He said it will take a few hundred rounds till it shoots it's best. So if you cleaning more often than that you could be missing out on it's full accuracy potential.

Do I need a bubble level?

While I understand what Frank is saying my answer would ev you absolutely need one. First of all how are you supposed to train / practice to hold your gun level, if you have no idea what level is while your doing it? Secondly I have yet to take someone shooting in the mountains that can lay on...

Got muzzle brake and it changed accuracy. Why?

I've seen the same thing with a lot of factory barrels, with the can on they would shoot like a custom barrel with about any load. But if you took the can off they would become sensitive to what load they would shoot well.

    Time to get a gunsafe

I depends on how much worth of property you are protecting. If its $10,000 or less it probably doesn't make sense to spend 4 to 6 thousand on a safe but if it's $50,000 or $100,000 then a higher end safe makes a lot more sense. There are some nice instructional videos on youtube that show you...

Opinion on Using a BAT Action in a Tactical Rifle

I have 2 6.5x47's a 284 and a 338 lapua all on melonited hrpic and vrpic actions. So far I couldn't be happier with them, and I've yet to see another action that's nicer. Even with all the fine dirt that got everywhere at the cup last year I still had no problems. I will say that the melonite...
