    Effects of a carbon ring

    A Carbon ring forms where the mouth of the cartridge case meets the throat. That small ledge will accumulate carbon and it can be very difficult to remove.

    Muzzle Brake for 224 Valkyrie

    So I am having a 224Valkyrie barrel spun up. Basically is is a 22" 1:7 Krieger with a +2 gas system and an SLR adjustable gas block. I was thinking about putting a brake on the end of it and I am looking for suggestions. I have considered a Cherry Bomb from the Q, as well as an Area 419...

    IN this same thought, does a custom action like a Defiance,Stiller or Surgeon need "Trued" or Blueprinted before building?

    .224 Valkyrie

    Personally I am looking forward to this cartridge. I am planning on an upper for my 5.56 SPR as well as a new bolt gun in this cartridge. Rumor is that The Q will come out with a Mini Fix in 224 Valkyrie, 300Blackout and 5.56MM. I will be in line for that Rifle.

    KAC vs Geissele Handguard

    I have both and at this point I doubt I would go with another KAC rail. I have several Geissele rails and will continue to buy more.

    Suppressors 10/22 Integral: Thompson or Gemtech

    I have had a Gemtech since 1995 and love it. I have no idea if they have changed the design since then but it's still quiet and accurate to I am not complaining.
