    New GAP Extreme Hunter in 6.5 SAUM

    Would there be any benefit of running a 28" barrel over a 26 or 24? Any extra velocity or is it just extra weight? Its an 1-8.5 twist shooting 140 bergers with 62 grains of Retumbo.

    Will there be any problems using a standard redding 7 saum seating die with a vld seater instead of the competition seating die?

    Gunsmithing SS and CM barrels

    I'm looking at rebarreling a couple actions and was wondering if there are any concerns on putting a stainless barrel on a blued action or a CM barrel on a stainless action. Also what about the recoil lug? What would the benefits be of either . Thanks for any input in advance.
