leupold 2x pistol scope is my solution for this. https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1362241334 Needs a frame mounted rail. Its slow to aquire targets, heavy, and makes your gun look like a han solo blaster, but its an option. I think the better option is to get good with irons.
I had this issue too. New turret from Leupold is in the mail, their customer service is truly something we are so lucky to have in this industry. Since my new turret was coming in, I decided to start playing with the current turret that stopped dead at 20 mils. Issue is pretty simple. The pin...
Opposite experience here, had ZCO 5-27 mpct2 liked it except reticle was too thick. Changed to tt 5-25 gen3xr and am happy. I tend to run at 15x or more when shooting, lower than that I use primarily to find targets so fine reticle isn’t a problem.
Yeti Camino 35 did just fine. I normally use an Eberlestock Gunslinger but got tired of unpacking it every stage. The big purse was nice. If this was at Q Creek I’d stick with a backpack, but Tillard, besides a couple stages, is shot right next to dirt roads. That said If I ever shoot it again...
I shot '16, '18, '19, and '20. See bold below. Read the PRS blog articles: https://precisionrifleblog.com/tag/q-creek-elr-prs-match/ Get rock solid with your ballistic calculator - if you don't trust the numbers coming out of it, it will be a long few days. Be ready for wind.
A kinetic puller uses the mass of the projectile to remove it from the case. If you watch the above video, you can see this on a smaller scale from leaving rounds in your car while you drive around. Many f class shooters seat long and do final seating at matches to avoid this issue.
One part of it is that bullets walk out of the case, especially when seated on top of compressed loads, over time and travel. If you cram in 62+ grains of H1000 or similar powder in the 7 saum case, seat a 180+ grain bullet on it, then drive across country, you will find that a significant...
I shot a short action 7 Saum at the NF ELR - ran 183s one year and 184s the other. Had lots of feeding issues - defiance and atlas actions, different magazines too - running at 2.95 leaves little room for error - about one in ten would hang up. I moved to the XM platform and feeding issues...
