I've travelled a lot with my long guns in locked (2x TSA approved combo locks) Pelican cases and I've never had anything stolen or go missing. Hope this works for you. Sorry for the highjack on a completely unrelated topic.
Well unfortunately I don't have any photo evidence. I guess you and all there other people on the wide world of the internet will just have to take my word for it...or just ask someone else who has flown from North America to the Middle East. A lot.
Wow thanks for telling me about zeros and how to use them. That said, if you travel from 10 degrees C @ 500 DA to 45 degrees C @ 5500 DA you will have a zero shift from the last point you zero'd your setup.
If you're going to spend the money on a Kestrel, I'd suggest getting a 5700 Elite with the AB software. As well as getting the Kestrel Link Ballistics app on your smart phone so you can use the bullet library to use the CDM's instead of a G7 or G1.
