Re: Target Peeps? Installed Williams WGRS peeps with a nice gold-dot front on my MKII FSS last summer. 25 and 50 yd. groups are *tight*, 100 yds not so much... Learned to shoot in the USMC and really looked forward to a similar sight arrangement, but 20 years makes a difference. My eyeballs...- chilly

Couple new Savage rimfires coming out...
Re: Couple new Savage rimfires coming out... The BRJ looked a lot better on the website than in person. Way too "fruity", especially with that screwdriver-looking barrel. Even my wife didn't like it. The TR is cool, wish it came in .22 WMR also.- chilly

Re: Savage Rimfire I have a MKII FSS (Synth. stock, stainless sporter barrel) and get good groups at 50 yds. with aperture sights. My eyes aren't up to the task for peep-sights anymore so I'm going to trade up to a BTVS in .22WMR. The shoulder and cheek fit are perfect w/ scope. Had toyed...- chilly
