    Re: Red Jacket Quite frankly, I wouldn't wish their work on anyone. I was unlucky enough to obtain one of their AK builds in a trade. Let's just say that I could have done cleaner assembly work on my own using nothing but a ball peen hammer and vice grips.

    Re: 270. win capabilities on game suchas Elk and Moose Worry more about being able to put the right bullet in the right place. Chambering is a distant third behind skill/accuracy and bullet construction. Mind the first two concerns and 270 is more than enough.

    Re: All around caliber My thoughts: Small to medium sized game: 6mm Medium to large sized game: 7mm Brown bear and Africa: .375 As an all-arounder, it's hard to not like anything in the 7mm bore: 280/280AI, 7mm-08, 7mmRM, 7WSM, 284Win, 7x57.

    Re: Choke in YOUR upland gun? Wild pheasants only... Benelli Vinci. Trulock Skeet 2 before the snow flies and Trulock Improved Modified after the snow flies. I prefer #5 shot before the snow and #4 after.
