I need to outfit a couple of rifles and can't afford to put NightForce on all of them. One rifle is a Rem 700 300WM, one is a LMT MWS 308 and the last is a Rem 700 22-250 for varmints. The 300WM and 308 will be long range rigs, the 22-250 is for coyotes. I'd like to stay around the 500-600...

Based on the yard, simply convert it to inches and then divide by 1000. At 100 yards, you have 3600 inches, divide that by 1000. So you get 1 mil at 100 yards is 3.6". If you have a 1/4 mil scope then divide the 3.6" by 4 and that is what each "click" is. Pretty straight forward. Really not...

Thanks for the reply skypup. I am apt to be happier with the Dbal-d2 vs the Dbal-i2 and the torch pro? Which helmet mount do you prefer? I was recommended a Wilcox L4g24. Any thoughts there?

After much disappointment with the bhs-xr I think the better choice would have been to get a nv setup from the get-go. This is what I'm thinking: 1. Pvs-14 2. Team Wendy helmet 3. Nortoros INVG mount 4. Flir ps32 5. Dbal (not sure which one) 6. Eagletac T200c2 ir 7. Princeton tec charge...

Any other recommendations?

Whats a good option within the scopes? I'd put it on a 300WM or a 308. It would be the only scope on the 308 at one time

Does flir make a NV product that I could trade?

Lens cap has been removed. I don't know if it is the heat in AZ or what. Hell even at night everything glows and I know sure as hell it's not all game animals. I've read the owners manual. I've watched videos.....I feel that I've more than done my part.
