    Precision Rifles.....show em!!

Fnally got everything put together and out to the range this week and it did not disappoint. I heard a lot of talk about Remington QC being way down but I wanted a traditional R700 action for my first bolt gun and thankfully mine shoots lights out, i'd say it's a half MOA gun based on the groups...

Manners Composite Stocks Estimated Lead Times

Couple problems with your argument, 1" is considered the standard in butt pads for stocks. 1/2" is a niche length for shooters with below average length arms. Also, it is way easier to cut a 1/2" off the butt pad with an every day jigsaw or sander than it is to completely remove the butt pad...

Thanks for the correction mechanic, Beckwith sounds like a very interesting guy. I'll have to look into Delta Force for sure. Just added Into Infamy to my Amazon list as well.

Looking for a PRS stock for my savage short action. MPA competition? Any better?

I would also add OP, make sure you like a chassis system before you buy if possible. I myself have found that I prefer a traditional stock as of late. It's a big investment and you dont want to be out a grand just to not like what you buy.

Rifle Scopes Have you ever mounted scope so low that you can see the muzzle through the scope?

This is interesting because a lot of guys with LPV on their AR with FSB dont even see the FSB when their magnification is at 4 or 6.

    Seasons Greetings from GA

Welcome to SH, I know all about the (over) budget build. My stock is on the way right now and it put me well over haha.

Rifle Scopes Best QD base for a precision bolt rifle?

I too would stay far away from QD on a precision rifle.

Cadex Defence, flaunt it if you've got it!

Best looking chassis on the market IMO, if I wasnt a traditional stock kinda guy id be all over the field competition model.

I really wanted that T4A in straight carbon but I was bummed it had a 1/2" recoil pad and not the standard 1". Just a customer suggestion but id love to see you guys order everything with a 1" standard pad and let people cut them down if they want a shorter LOP.

If you arent looking for a specific color/spec I have found a couple sites that have them in stock. Bullets.com and EuroOptic.com, i prefer Euro's customer service. They give a discount whenever I email them about products, Bullets doesnt even price match which bugs me.

Rifle Scopes What scopes are you hoping for at Shot Show 2018?

Vortex to make their Razor line black and not burnt bronze lol. I love the look of a sleek black scope and the brown just drives me crazy.

Rifle Scopes MR5 vs Gen 2 XR

I have heard the Gen 2 XR is extremely fine so be careful if you want something a little more thick. It might not be to your liking if youve always been a SFP guy.

No Easy Day and Inside Delta Force are both excellent if youre into military novels

Rifle Scopes Kahles Gen3 624i Review (Amazing Optic)

As someone with a Vortex Razor and possibly looking to make a change, has anyone had durability issues with the Khales? I read someone who was talking about tracking/turret failures being an issue?

Rifle Scopes Having a problem shooting with both eyes open

I personally dont see any issue with closing an eye when shooting long range. I understand the benefit of both eyes open when using carbines for the extra FOV thats necessary for CQB but at long range i dont see the benefit.
