Re: 168 Gr. Muzzle Velocity out of Remington LTR .308
I shoot alot, I really dont need the software its more of a want. I just got the gun not to long back and Ive got it doped out to only 400 yds so far. The gun shoots great. I live in MO and its kind of hard to find a spot to shoot any...
Re: 168 Gr. Muzzle Velocity out of Remington LTR .308
Yeah as soon as I get one I will. I used a guys at my local range and his read 2730 fps but I really dont beleive it. He said he bought his brand new for 100 dollars so im guessing it is a low end chrono which probally isnt as accurate as...
I shoot a Remington LTR .308 and need a M/V for the ballistics software im going to try out. I do not have a chrono so someone elses results will get me closer than me guessing. I shoot 168 Grain. Hornadys TAP and BTHP. Any insight would be great.
Re: What optics for a light weight carry rifle
I like my Nikon Monarch X 2.5-10x44, very clear and keeps a good zero and returnable zero. Mine is mounted on an Rem. LTR that is in a hardcase in trunk of my patrol car and I have not had any issues with it changing POI. Got mine for around $900.
Re: Which AR?
LWRC all the way, I have the M6A2 I carry with me from home to work everyday , and it is setup for close quarters with an EOTECH but the gun will hold MOA at 100 if I do my part.
Re: Mil-Dot estimation Challenge
611, if the target is 22 in. tall. 27.778 x target height in inch. = 611.116/mils which I guess at exactly 1 mil, equals 611
Re: How good is a R700 Police
I agree, I want to get the McCillan A5 stock, but im not really wanting to wait 6 months to get it. Anyone know where to get one without the wait?
Re: 100 yd or 200 yd zero???
I zero my .308 LTR at 100 and just measured my bullet drop at 100 yard intervals. 0 MOA at 100, 2.25 at 200, 5.25 at 300, and so on.
Re: How good is a R700 Police
I love my 700 LTR, it is the Rem. 700P with a 20 inch fluted barrel. With Hornady 168gr. Match I get consistent 1/2 inch 5 shot groups off my bipod at 100 yards. When I use sandbags it is not unusual to get .3 inch groups with the Hornady. My rifle is still out...
Re: A bullet CANNOT knock someone/thing over can it?
a steel bullet will be one less accurate to shoot because the rifling of the barrel would not hold it like it would lead, and it would ruin your rifling, and two since there would not be as much expansion on a steel bullet it would go in...
