You will get a 100 people in here saying to buy something else. I say the S&B 5-25 is still the best thing going. As far as the reticle, I prefer the H2CMR, but the MSR would also be very useful. I like my MTC turrets. Some folks complain about going past their desired setting by a tenth or two...

I put a Steiner 4-16 on mine. I have been pleased so far.

Since all these S&B's are junk, I think they should be offered for sale at a really deep discount. If you have one, and you want to sell it at real good rate, PM me. Chris R

Why not mount another scope on it to eliminate that possibility? That is a lot of shift for it to be the ammo. Chris

I personally have had many guns, both semi and bolt action, with CL barrels that would shoot sub-moa consistently.

I recently bought one and had a couple of good groups right out of the gate, then it started shooting 2''-2.5''. I started checking everything and it turned out my scope was just slightly loose in the SPUHR mount. Went back to the range and it shot everything 1.5" or better with the best results...

I'm pretty sure you can buy a Knight's Armament rifle for less than 27K. For 27K, I think you could park a whole fleet of them in your safe.

AXMC in .338. Then buy caliber conversion.
