Rifle Scopes Zero Compromise Optic update

I never understood that saying. Maybe it should be the kids of whomever who dies with the most toys wins.

Suppressors Questioning my local Class 3 dealers honesty, need input.

Last month I received a copy of my form 4 from the nfa branch detailing an issue that needed correcting (small mistake on the trust's name). Actually made me quite happy to see. I went to my dealer with it and instead of waiting for the original copy to get to him (he received the original...

    Question about Bulletflight

I've never used that app but I would suggest you contact the creators of the app and see if they have any suggestions. What I CAN tell you is that I bought "Shooter" a few years ago for android and still love it. If you continue to have issues with your current app check out shooter.

    Muzzle Brake needed!

Adding weight helps A LOT as well, if it's not a hunting rifle of course. I packed the cavity in the butt of my hs stock with lead shot and lead fishing weights (sounds dumb but.... uhhh... not sure why didn't just use lead shot come to think of it) and it "seemed" to help nearly as much as a...

Suppressors Questioning my local Class 3 dealers honesty, need input.

I've heard of 30 day gap between sending off paperwork to the check being cashed, rare it seems but possible. 60+ days on the other hand, has only happened twice I'm aware of, to me and to Masked.

Suppressors Questioning my local Class 3 dealers honesty, need input.

I appreciate it that, most all checks that I'm aware of (90%+) are cashed within 10 days, looks like some may slip through the cracks and tack on an additional 2 months to an already incredibly long wait. If the atf woman is correct, I will have waited 1 full year for my first tax stamp...

Suppressors Questioning my local Class 3 dealers honesty, need input.

Here's the deal. My local class 3 dealer told me he sent my form 4/trust off January 27th. I marked it in my calendar. However, my check wasn't cashed until April 2nd. Didn't think much of it at the time. Now ~8 months later I'm starting to get impatient. So I call and check the...

    Suppressors NFA trust

I went with the same attorney. Partly because he's out of Austin TX and was close enough I could have gone to his office if the need arose. It turns out I was paranoid. Two calls to him with the details about those I included in the trust and an hour or two later I received an email with the...

    Caldwell bipod?

I've got one and its been fine. I mean, I might not take it to a war zone but for anything I do, range, target, hog hunting, "ranch gun", it's been more than adequate and have never regretted saving the ~$75 by not buying a harris. I've got two actually, one swivel and one non-swivel, one on a...

Best rifle case for an AR

I've had a midway "drag bag" for a few years now and never had a problem. I use it when I don't feel like lugging a hard case around or when I don't need the protection of one. Even with a ~16 lb bolt gun and a 16" barrel ar (don't know it's weight) I've had zero issue's... apart from the...

Gunsmithing Which bushing for barrel vise?

If you haven't already purchased the Brownells vise you might take a look at the vise "wallycooper" has on ebay. It comes with a few different (5 I think) aluminum bushings. I got one to remove my factory 700p barrel and it worked like a charm. I DID take a dremel to one of the bushings...

Gunsmithing Relatively quick, quality, trustworthy, smith to cut/thread/crown?

Thanks guys for the advice! I've heard nothing but good reviews from Longriflesinc (along with positive experience with them in the past) and SAC builds some of my favorite (looking) rifles from pics they and owner's have posted, something about them is just.... right.. I can't explain it...
