My dad has a RPR in 223. He was wanting to know what it would take to swap it to 224 valkyrie. I know he would have to have a barrel made, could I get my Smith open the bolt face up for the 224? Or would you have to buy a new bolt? Also what about the mags? Thanks

I have a 783 in 6.5 creedmoor with the 16.5 inch heavy barrel. It shoots sub MOA all day. Love it. It is my hunting rifle. Remingtons quality has gi e down hill but I say they hit a home run with the 783 offerings.

I live in SC it gets 90 to 100 degrees easy in the summer down here. I have read that re26 can be temp sensitive over 85. Have you had any issues?

At first mine was a little rough but after some rounds down range and a little polishing it's good to go for me.

The rifles go from safe to padded case, then from case to bench, the from bench to case to safe :) I'm not rough on my bolt guns. The ARs tho get rand hard and fast.
