Re: Base/rings for .308 rem 700 5r? I have a Rem 5R in 308 also. I have the Seekins rings and 20 moa mounts. They are excellent. You won't be disapointed. Got mine from Scott at Liberty Optics.

Re: Scott @ Liberty Optics and the Vortex Viper PST Scott provides great service and prices. Got the Razor HD spotter and scope based on his recommendation...couldn't be happier.

Does anyone have any experience with the Rail series? The 1.5-6x42 in particular... How difficult would it be to mount it on a Flat top AR. the mounts seem very low.

Re: Vortex Razor HD 20-60x80 spotting scope I purchased one from Scott a couple of months ago, on his recommendation. It's a great spotter worth every penny. A review was posted here. My buddies Swaro is a tad sharper, but not worth an extra $1000 more (to me).

Re: Burris Xtreme rings not centered on EGW rail I have found the EGW rings to be excellent. I also like the TSR/HRT rings made by TPS Products. I think they are both made in USA.

First, let me start of by saying that I am one of the people that started off try to save a few buck and purchased several cheaper ($100-$600) spotter in the course of 2 years ending up returning or selling them for a loss. The clarity was not there and/or the eye relief was very bad (I wear...
