    Varget vs N140

So, N140/N150 for Varget... N550/N555 for H4350... is N160 too slow, or...? The N5xx series powders are double base - just wondering if there's a single base powder equivalent for H4350/RL16?

    Swarovski SLC 15x56

You can also find the previous generation of the same model for even cheaper - bought mine for $1500 a couple years ago, here on the 'hide - they have a bit more chromatic aberration vs. the current model (they changed lens coatings), but keep up just fine. Most people don't even see CA anyway.

Can the Stiller tac 30 be accurate

I think you can find other posts about this issue here, too - been a while since I looked. It's the silly cut they make in the ejection port, ostensibly to allow you to more easily unload loaded rounds. The problem is, it sets a trajectory for case ejection that tends to launch it upward. The...

    ATS vs ACE muzzle brake

It's too bad they couldn't roll a Maverick into the testing mix up there in Canadia, eh. I've been running one for a full year, now, in the 5" braked config. It's definitely less recoil reduction than a Sidewinder (or, theoretically, the Hellfire Match, which seems to be roughly same as a...

    ATS vs ACE muzzle brake

I have a nitrided A419 Sidewinder. I put it in a pickle relish jar filled with Boretech C4. That goes in the ultrasonic filled with clean water. Run for 30 minutes. Rinse in hot water. Done. Comes out clean as a whistle with effectively zero effort.

Sidearms & Scatterguns Any USPSA shooters here

I didn't keep super accurate track of round count... but I made "A" on about 20k rounds, "M" on about double that, and GM on about double that (so, 80k-ish to GM, for me, give or take), but that belies all the dry fire work, etc, between D->A/M, and just the time. And I wasn't a dry fire over...

    PRS Talk Rifle weight ?

It could potentially be fill - IIRC, the earlier TCS stocks had Double Dead as an option, whereas current ones, it's a standard feature. But, I don't know - all I know is my gun is ass heavy. Manners says the new rail can be up to 34oz with a full weight kit - mine would be at 30.4 with the rear...

    PRS Talk Rifle weight ?

My Vudoo wears a 20" 1.25" contour Krieger, and sits in a TCS (in fact, it's the one I have that has the latest style rail and weights we've been discussing). It doesn't have any rear weights in it, and the rear pair of rail weights are removed, as well. Even with a bipod on it, it's still tail...

100% agreed... I'm having a straight contour barrel spun up for mine shortly for that very reason...

    PRS Talk Rifle weight ?

Gotta be a typo - @tmanners or @RobertB could confirm. But... doing some quick math... Aluminum is about .1 lbs per cu in (1.6 oz per cu in). Stainless is about .28 lbs per cu in (4.48 oz per cu in). I measured one of mine at roughly .4 cu in (1.2x1.2x.3, and round down for the corners and...

    PRS Talk Rifle weight ?

Not sure the actual answer - but the A419 rail had their serrations, and those can cut bags - but who knows the real answer (other than the folks at Manners and maybe A419)
