    Re: Watches? +1 on Casio Pathfinder (model PAW-1300G) I beat the shit out of this one for a year deployment in Afghanistan, still going strong, has not even needed a new band yet. 2 minor problems: the glass is reflective and you can't adjust seconds in the countdown timer.

    I'm looking for a quality 1911 that's made in the USA for around $1000. I would prefer it to be reliable, well made and probably with a rail. I'm thinking about the Colt rail gun but maybe I'm overlooking something else. This is going to be a gift for my dad. Any other ideas?
