I'll stick my head above the berm... The 5-25 looks good to me, looks like its built on the old MK8 tube, at least 10 oz. lighter than a Razor 2, priced right, I think a good brick and mortar store will sell the CCH at about 1899.99 and the tmr even less. Grab some badger 35mm rings and a...
I used to manage an archery pro shop(we sold all the name brands), it has been a few years though. Mathews, Hoyt, G5 prime interchange all three are top notch builders, get the one you like everything else is sub par. IMHO
I do think it is powder related as both times that I have seen this I have been doing load work up with CFE223, I use a lot of varget, some RL15, imr 4166, and imr 4064. The ring only seems to occur with CFE223.

Has anybody done any milling, sanding, drilling, grinding etc. on manners elite stocks. I know that you can send it back to manners and they will add just about anything you want. That kind of takes the fun out of it though. Figured I would check here before I ruin a $1200.00 stock. To be more...
After speaking with a man at Defiance machine, Norm I think was his name. I removed my firing pin assembly using a piece of high strength small diameter cord looped around my boot and pulled tight against the ridges on the bottom of the firing pin (I.e. Boot lace field disassembly) spinning the...
