I'll stick my head above the berm... The 5-25 looks good to me, looks like its built on the old MK8 tube, at least 10 oz. lighter than a Razor 2, priced right, I think a good brick and mortar store will sell the CCH at about 1899.99 and the tmr even less. Grab some badger 35mm rings and a...
I used to manage an archery pro shop(we sold all the name brands), it has been a few years though. Mathews, Hoyt, G5 prime interchange all three are top notch builders, get the one you like everything else is sub par. IMHO
I do think it is powder related as both times that I have seen this I have been doing load work up with CFE223, I use a lot of varget, some RL15, imr 4166, and imr 4064. The ring only seems to occur with CFE223.
Proof Research 20" 308 win spun up by SAC on a Remington action, sierra 155tmk, once fired Lake City Brass, federal 210 primers. using Hodgdon's load data for CFE223 (which is really fucking warm by the way). Barrel had 123 rnds on it since it was last cleaned. I think I am going to put the...
I have had this on two occasions with different barrels, both times load testing with cfe223 like the title says. Anybody have any ideas? The ring is copper not brass and it was located just in front of the chamber, it is sitting in the barrel loose and easily comes out with a bore snake. just...

Has anybody done any milling, sanding, drilling, grinding etc. on manners elite stocks. I know that you can send it back to manners and they will add just about anything you want. That kind of takes the fun out of it though. Figured I would check here before I ruin a $1200.00 stock. To be more...
After speaking with a man at Defiance machine, Norm I think was his name. I removed my firing pin assembly using a piece of high strength small diameter cord looped around my boot and pulled tight against the ridges on the bottom of the firing pin (I.e. Boot lace field disassembly) spinning the...
Trying to determine bullet seating depth for a new rifle, and I am having a bit of some self doubt. Rifle is a GA Hospitaller in 6.5creedmoor, this is my first rifle of this quality. When I am trying to determine bullet seating depth I am getting rifling stripes on the bullet all the way down to...
Re: Compound Hunting Bow Mathews vs Bowtech vs Hoyt I used to manage a bow shop, buy what feels best to you, that being said, from experience regarding customer service From the listed Bow Companies trying to get things warrantied for my customers, Mathews is the absolute best at taking care...
Re: Best or favorite .17HMR's? Remington 504t in .17hmr and you can custom make new mags out of Remington 597 magnum magazines pics later maybe if you guys are lucky
Re: Redneck Security System Pretty funny there sir, I think that would about do it other than I am from Flint. Around here I think they would break in just for the dogs, steal them, see if they fight, bring them back if they don't
