New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
For that clip I was just using the Nikon 510 42x optical zoom model.
I also use a canon which has some great features.
Rule of thumb you want at least 40x zoom all optical, non of this *digitally assisted zoom!!
Had a few comments on my local forums from people saying long range shooting can only be done by those with deep pockets...
Gotta start somewhere and there's lots of rifles that can get you started.
The 700 is my pick.
Enjoy :)

I'm in New Zealand
I actually just finished a clip on this a WW1 built Mauser GEW sniper complete with Goerz optic.
It's all 1916 dated and seems to shoot great!
Yeah Ive built a few full chassis long range rigs and love shooting them all, but it's great to take out stuff like the Mosin and see what can be achieved.
It's also very good practice for shooting in a position other than prone, which comes in handy for hunting.
Hi fellas been on here a lot in the past for info.
Thought I had better contribute :)
Did this clip a while back, it's nice an short and pretty interesting.
