I’m thinking it’s going to be like a lease. I’ll probably end up buying a new one, next gen comes out, sell it and put $ towards the new one. Each new gen will be like putting a down payment on a new truck lease. It will never end.- Dragn’up

I couldn’t answer that question, hindsight, if I previously knew there were no replacement parts on the shelf, I would have taken $800 for it happily. That would have gotten me a new one for 1/2 the price.- Dragn’up

That’s exactly what I’m hoping for. He probably won’t be able to find a replacement circuit board for the AMP, but he is more than capable of fixing one if that’s the issue.- Dragn’up

No, they didn’t want it sent back as there were no replacement parts for the Gen 1. I sent it to one of my electrical engineer nerds to see if he could trace the problem and possibly repair it.- Dragn’up

I have had email conversations with Alex already, he basically told me I was out of luck. I purchased the gen 1 new in 2016. It has approximately 4K anneals on it. I had one replaced due to the lid warping. They told me it warped because it was tan and not the white one. “Tan is not good in the AZ heat” I was told. So the new white one did too. Fan boy? You can go fuck your self. I have RTIC, ORCA and Canyon coolers. It’s not about just ice retention. RTIC rubber latches are weak as shit, too soft and allows the lid to pop up and break the seal and the hinge pins back out. Canyon lids warp in the sun, and break the seal, ORCA hinges...- Dragn’up
