    Re: 50, 408 or 416 which one would you pick I prefer the .50 for many reasons... but the main reason being commercial availability of ammo. Cheap Milsurp as low as $1.75/rd all the way up to Hornady Amax @ $6/rd... along with a gazillion reloading combinations.

    Re: Which one Armalite AR-50 or the Bushmaster BAR-50? You should be able to get into a brand new AR50 for less than $3k. I don't have any experience with the BM50... and after owning my AR50, I really don't have any interest in the Bushmaster. The Armalite is one hell of a rifle for the money.

    Re: Best picatinny scope base for a 700 short action? I have two from Badger Ordnance and one of the Weaver Tactical bases. The Weaver didn't want to lay flat on the receiver, but the Badgers were perfect.
