    Nfoley. True, I did not mention if I was going to be loading my own ammunition. I do plan to begin hand loading in the very near future, getting some practice in .223 an .40 pistol. I am hoping to use a caliber that has a somewhat readily available ammunition, subject to current political issues...

    Midwestside, that is quite a weapon system. I don't know how man portable that would be, but I guess I didn't mention that previously. I would like to be able to carry this rifle not just shoot from a bench. But thank you, I am getting some good ideas already.

    Strike33. Thanks for the reply. That is an interesting option. I have looked into AI stocks and such but not into the complete rifle system. I do like the interchangeable barrels and caliber options. I would not get to do much "building" with that system, but I will definitely look into it further.
