Re: Remington SPS Varmint any good?!? Mine is a .22-250. They are a nice rifle for the price I think. Shoot pretty good but to reach its fullest potential you will need to reload for it. I never had success with factory ammo but I know some who have.

Re: What did you work on today? I took my Remington 700 out of its old stock and got it ready for its new Bobby Hart LRT stock. Also took apart my M&P 15-22 and worked on putting new springs in and using some flitz to smoothe contact points.

Had a talk with one of my friends father today. He said if you have a, lets say 60gr bullet zeroed at 200 yds in a rifle chambered in 6mm using only Hornady factory ammo. If my friend uses the 60gr bullet for varmints and switches to a 100gr bullet for deer, the point of impact will only change...

Re: Favorite Caliber & Why? .22-250 Its my favorite out of all the calibers I own. I liked my first Rem 700 in .22-250 I had to get another one. They are perfect for shooting grounhogs. I like the low recoil and high velocity they provide which gives me the perfect varmint caliber. IMO
