Re: New Rifle Break In I can tell you what I do. Clean it well before you shoot it the first time. Go shooting, when the accuracy starts to falloff clean it again.- eagle359

Rifle Scopes Warne scope ring torque wrench
I just got it from Brownells for under $30. It is a T-handle unit with a clutch that slips at 25 inlbs. It only fits Torx T15 screws. I was putting a scope on a LTR and gave it a try. If this is what 25 inlbs feels like-I have been over doing it for years.- eagle359

Re: R5 Accuracy CVO How does it shoot after you clean it? If you are getting good groups until the bore starts to foul then it sounds like a rough bore that may or may not improve as you shoot it. The R5 has a very good rep and I would not worry, it should get better as you get a higher...- eagle359

Re: R5 Accuracy How many rounds do you have through the R5? Remington bbls can sometimes be a bit rough. As you shoot you will lap in the bore and you should maintain accuracy for more shots. The .30 cal Remingtons that I have usually took 200 to 250 rounds to really settle in.- eagle359
