    17 hornet.

Thanks all. Best load I've had was with 20gr VMAX with 12.1 of 1680, but again not as good as factory stuff. WIll give your suggestions a try.

    17 hornet.

Any updates on recipes? I recently acquired a CZ 527 that shoots factory Hornady loads very well, but I can't find any loadings that are worth a damn. Has been one of the more challenging cartridges for me. Using Hornady dies, FWIW.

New ULTRA LIGHTWEIGHT hunting / competition / varmint / do-it-all chassis from XLR Industries!!!

Noted and indeed I was referring to the sling mounts. I think you guys were out of stock when I last looked. Heck, the mounts are likely made by another party ?

    B5 Precision Buttstock

The quick LOP adjustment is nice as is the ~8 oz weight reduction compared to the 3rd gen Magpul PRS. If the RE tension adjustment works well then it might be worth a try.

    Manners T4CZ pillars/bedding for 452 Varmint?

Re: Manners T4CZ pillars/bedding for 452 Varmint? This is very helpful and the primary reason I'm asking. The pillar in the middle of the action (since the 452V doesn't have a rear or tang mount) has to be a small diameter piece or machined fitting as there is little room between the trigger...

    Manners T4CZ pillars/bedding for 452 Varmint?

I've a CZ452 Varmint that's currently mated with a Boyd's Tacticool stock. I'm pretty satisfied with this combination, but accuracy seems to be sensitive to torque settings and temperature and humidity. I've not bedded the action in this stock. I'm considering replacing the Boyd's stock with a...

Rifle Scopes New Weaver tactical 3-15x50

Re: New Weaver tactical 3-15x50 Can't one just divide the objectice lens diameter by the measured exit pupil? OF course, you do need the scope to do that Interestingly, Weaver lists the exit pupil for this scope on their site as 10.52mm - 3.34mm which comes out to 4.8X-15X rather than 3X-15X.

Rifle Scopes New Weaver tactical 3-15x50

Re: New Weaver tactical 3-15x50 Thsnks for the welcome John. My post was by no means a criticism of your review as I thought it was one of the better scope comparisons I've read in a while having quantifiable, empiric data. I was only questioning the ability of the scope (not necessarily...

    CZ - 452/455 Manners 22 trainer stock

Re: CZ - 452/455 Manners 22 trainer stock I'll take any of them with a preference toward the T4. I do have a question, however, given the variation in 452 22 LR actions. The 452 American and Scout employ 2 action screws, but the 452 Varmint (and others) use one action screw and one barrel...

CZ 452 w/ Boyds Tacticool Pics

Re: CZ 452 w/ Boyds Tacticool Pics Glocker17, does your 17 HMR have the barrel lug or is the action secured with two screws? Trying to determine if the 452 Varmint in .22 will work with the Tacticool stock (has single action screw and barrel lug). The images of the inletting on Boyd's site...
